The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the PM Vidyalaxmi Scheme on November 6. The Union Cabinet has approved the PM Vidyalaxmi Scheme to provide loans of up to Rs 7.5 lakh to eligible students to cover full tuition fees and other course-related expenses.
